Product Development
Build the product. Learn faster.
Whether you're starting from an idea, rebuilding an MVP or extending an existing product, we help turn product decisions into working software through short iterations, frequent demos and a small senior engineering team.
AI-assisted development helps us move faster where it makes sense. You keep control of the roadmap, codebase and product decisions.
Tell us what you need to build
From assumptions to feedback
From idea to a product people can actually use
Early-stage products rarely fail because somebody forgot how to write code. The harder problem is getting from assumptions to a working product quickly enough to learn what is right, what is wrong and what should change.
The goal is not to maximize the amount of software built. It is to shorten the path between a product decision and real feedback.
We work with teams that need to
- Turn an idea or prototype into a working product
- Rebuild an MVP that has become difficult to extend
- Add a substantial new product flow or capability
- Introduce AI, LLM or data features into an existing product
- Prepare a working product for a stable production release
Defined ownership
What we can own
These are practical areas of responsibility, not fixed packages or separate departments.
Product builds and rebuilds
We can take responsibility for a bounded product build, from architecture and core user flows through backend, frontend, integrations and deployment.
That can mean a new MVP, a substantial rebuild or a clearly defined stream inside an existing product.
AI and LLM product features
When AI genuinely improves the product, we can integrate LLM-based workflows, assistants, structured extraction, matching, classification and other applied AI capabilities.
We treat AI as part of the product architecture, not as a feature that has to be added merely because somebody put it on the roadmap.
Data and integrations
Products usually become complicated at the edges: payments, CRM systems, external APIs, analytics, imports, exports and inconsistent data.
We build the pipelines and integrations that make those flows reliable enough to become part of the product rather than permanent manual work.
Product engineering beyond the MVP
An MVP is useful only if there is a sensible path after it.
We can continue into production hardening, automated testing, performance work, deployment and ongoing product development, or hand over the complete codebase to your internal team.
Delivery process
How we move quickly without treating your product like a prototype forever
- 01
Build the product flow first
We break the product into small increments and work through the important journeys quickly.
You see working software early, not a large speculative specification. Frequent demos make it possible to correct assumptions while changing them is still inexpensive.
- 02
Learn through short feedback loops
Product decisions evolve as the software becomes tangible.
We expect active client feedback and use it to refine functionality, priorities and edge cases continuously rather than accumulating every change into a late-stage change request.
- 03
Harden what survives
Once the important flows are working and the direction is clear, the focus changes.
We address stability, automated tests, performance, deployment configuration, observability and the other work required for the intended production environment.
- 04
Transfer everything
The product should not depend on Forma Pro remaining your vendor.
You receive the relevant source code, repository history, deployment configuration and project assets produced during the engagement. Your team can continue independently or keep us involved.
Engineering leverage
A small senior team, amplified by AI
Modern development tools increase how much a compact, experienced team can deliver. We use AI-assisted engineering for repetitive and exploratory work, while engineers remain responsible for architecture, technical decisions and code quality.
That allows more effort to go into the product itself instead of coordination overhead.
Generated delivery does not change ownership of the code, and it does not make the resulting system dependent on proprietary Forma Pro tooling.
Where AI can assist
- Implementation
- Codebase analysis
- Refactoring
- Testing
- Documentation
- Exploration
Engineers remain accountable for the system that reaches production.
Engagement shape
Designed for startups, without startup theatre
You should be able to start with a bounded engagement rather than committing to an indefinite development contract.
We structure product work around compact phases with clear goals and visible deliverables. Scope can evolve as we learn, but commercial terms and responsibilities stay transparent.
No forced long-term lock-in.
Complete product build or rebuild
A team responsible for a complete bounded build or substantial rebuild.
Engineering stream alongside the internal product team
Forma Pro owns a defined stream while the client retains the product organization and roadmap.
Temporary senior team
A senior team helps move the product to a point where an internal team can take over.
A practical starting point
We can start small. The relationship does not have to stay small.
Since 2001, Forma Pro has been building software with companies at very different stages of growth.
Some engagements begin with one defined product problem. Others develop into long-term partnerships as the product and company evolve.
The useful starting point is not deciding how many developers you need for the next year. It is identifying the next product outcome worth owning.
Start with the outcome

We can help you define a sensible first delivery step before turning it into a large engagement.
